Laser + Tube Cutting File Guidelines
Every uploaded file is checked against basic laser-cutting requirements before quoting.
- Artwork should be 1:1 scale.
- File should contain only cut paths, not notes, borders, or dimensions.
- Text must be converted to outlines/shapes.
- Cut-out text should be bridged or stencilized.
- Sheet holes and small cutouts should be at least 50% of selected material thickness.
- Tube cutting files should be STEP/STP, one tube part only, 1:1 scale, using an available tube profile.
- Tube cuts should be perpendicular to the tube surface and full depth.
- Square/rectangular tube external corner radius should match the correct profile radius.
- Avoid duplicate, intersecting, overlapping, or shared/common lines.
- No open contours, empty objects, stray points, or raster images for cutting.
